Sometimes life can be lonely. Sometimes we can feel like the road ahead is long, and the road behind us is even longer, and there is no end in site. And while some of us are so blessed to have loved ones to walk with us, some of us don’t. But if Jesus is your Lord, you are never alone. When you became born again something wonderful happen. God came into your life, tore down all the old corrupt and broken things in your life, and made them new. And then…He moved in.
2nd Cor 5: 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ
God made you new, and God made you a fit dwelling place for Himself.
1 Cor 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
God himself is in you and with you. His Holy Spirit dwells in you.
So while you are walking down this long narrow bleak looking road, the people by your side may have fallen away making you feel like you are Ever Alone. Who have one with you, a Comforter, a Helper, God himself is always with you. You are Never Alone.
Hebrews 13:5 For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
Never alone. The Creator Of All Things, The Source of all light and love, is with you. And you do not have to knock of heavens gate to try and get a response, because He is right there with you. Just be quiet and reach out to Him and you will find him a ready source of encouragement, reason and most of all hope.
There are many sources a Christian can reach out to when we are in troubled waters. There are friends, family, church, inspiration, but as wonderful as they are they do not compare to the one who can calm the sea, and He is in your boat.
We are all fighting the battle, and we stand in our Armor of God and withstand the fiery darts of the enemy…but sometimes it all gets a bit overwhelming and we need to be held. Who better than those who love us, and who loves us more than Our Father?
